What are you passionate about?
And do you actually do anything about it?!
I've been guilty of this myself, and see so many others do absolutely nothing with what they say they are passionate about!
Strange isn't it?!?!
"I'm passionate about music" - never listen to it, or learn how to play a thing...
"I'm passionate about art" - never visit a gallery or pick up a brush, pencil whatever...
"I'm Passionate about my family" - Spend all your time working and then silently watch Netflix at night...
And this often comes down to two things... integrity and commitment.
Integrity - Are you really passionate about it?
Is it what you really want to do, or have, or is it what you say you want on the basis that you think it will get you some form of validation?
It'll make you look more interesting, more cultured, more whatever?
You announce it to the world in the hope that you are seen for something that isn't actually who you are?
Commitment - You do really want it,... but can't be arsed to do anything about it....well,....
A) go back to integrity... if YOU really want it, you'll commit to it.
If you don't commit, you don't really want it... It's just a bit of a "I like the idea of it"
B) If you get committed then it leads to actions that create, how could it not? If you're in integrity with what you want, and you're committed to creating what you want in this world, just from who you're being in each aligned moment will move you towards having the outcomes that you want. Its that simple...
PS - for the record I have been passionate about music, being the UK individual drumming winner at 17, and then teaching the best drum line in the country two years ago...
I have been passionate about rebuilding my entire family life including changing so much about what I thought I wanted... and it is now better than I ever thought possible... what's the possibility for you?
